Project 6: Information Design

Design the cover and a spread for a “newspaper” meant to appeal to young readers. Size and format are up to the student, but the final must be recognizable as a news vehicle. See handout for details.

 

Project 6 Schedule:

Monday April 9: Project 5 final due, final critique.
Quiz Delayed Until Wednesday 11: Chapters 8 and 10.

Wednesday April 11: presentation, quiz, work time, contest.

Monday April 16: Workday, presentation.

Wednesday April 18: First critique: News design, contest.

Monday April 23: Quiz, Chapters 11 & 12 and lectures, presentation, work time.

Wednesday April 25 : Contest, Second Critique.

Monday April 30 Last quiz: chapter 7 and lectures. Work time.

Wednesday May 2: Final due, final critique.

Wednesday May 9: Final Exam.
Morning Section: 10:30 a.m., Afternoon Section: 1:30 p.m.
